Barry Callebaut's plant in Dijon, France has reopened after a bomb warning last week.
The factory, which Callebaut recently agreed to sell, was closed last Thursday after an anonymous bomb alert, but reopened late afternoon yesterday.
A spokesperson for Barry Callebaut told ConfectioneryNews.com that the factory restarted production today. Police are still investigating who raised the alarm.
Last month, Barry Callebaut agreed to sell the plant for a token sum of €1 to a new chocolate firm set-up by ex-Callebaut staff called Chocolaterie de Bourgogne. See HERE for more details.
