A new line of pressure gauges are engineered to meet stringent performance, material and hygiene demands within the food and beverage sectors, their manufacturer claims.
Tel-Tru Manufacturing Co. said its Tel-Tru line of sanitary pressure gauges are available in 2.5 inch or 4 inch case sizes. The company is offering the gauges in configurations that are back-connected and lower back-connected.
Diaphragm seal fitting connections are standard in stainless steel with a choice of clamp sizes. Other options include fitting types and sanitary certificates.
One line of the sanitary pressure gauges comes with heavy duty glycerine-filled cases and have an accurate rate of within one per cent. An internal temperature compensation system provides correct readings even during extreme variations in external temperature, as occurs in the dairy and other food sectors.
The "Plus Line" of pressure gauges are meant to be a cost-effective alternative to the Select Line gauges for sanitary applications.
The company's heavy-duty Homogenizer gauges are accurate to better than one per cent and are liquid filled for vibration and pulsation damping, and temperature compensation. The gauges have a safety blowout device.
Special diaphragm seals with or without flanges fit homogenizers, with pressure ranges from 1,500 PSI to 20,000 PSI.
