Enstrom Candies has appointed the former Zachary Confections CEO as it new head of manufacturing as it looks to grow the business.

The family company added former president and CEO of Zachary Confections, Patrick Zachary, as its director of manufacturing.  Zachary announced that Enstom’s production facility in Grand Junction, Colorado, US, was now a Safe Quality Food (SQF) Level 3 Certified, accredited HACCP-Based Food Safety plant.

 “Obtaining the SQF Certification is a key part to our strategic growth plan of expanding our wholesale business and continuing to explore private label and other opportunities. SQF is now the standard for doing business with industry’s high profile customers,”​ said Zachary.

Doug Simons, president and CEO of Enstrom Candies said: “As Enstrom Candies begins to grow its new wholesale line, Patrick will add his expertise in manufacturing, strategic planning, sales and marketing to the team.
