Cadbury owner Mondelēz International has appointed a replacement for departing UK managing director Phil Greenhalgh.

Greenhalgh left the company this week to “pursue opportunities elsewhere”, according to a release from Mondelēz. He had led the UK business since September 2014.

He will be replaced by Mike Taylor, who most recently headed Mondelēz International in Sweden, Finland and Denmark.

Taylor worked in various commercial roles for Mondelēz’s predecessor firm Kraft Foods before leaving for Kellogg in 2006.

He served as General Manager for Kellogg’s UK snacks business, but returned to Kraft Foods as field sales director in 2011.
