Campco to step up chocolate production

Indian chocolate manufacturer Campco has announced plans to increase its production capacity from 18,000 tonnes per annum to 23,000 tonnes per annum by October next year.

According to The Times of India, the company is awaiting approval from its board to purchase upgraded chocolate manufacturing machines from Italian company Carle and Montanari worth €356,000.

The company crushes cocoa beans for Cadbury and produces finished products for Nestle. It also supplies bulk chocolate to Lotte and Perfetti,

Suresh Bhandary, general manager at Campco said the firm would look for new partners once the move has been approved.
