Hayssen Flexible Systems has partnered with Italian confectionery manufacturer Rovelli on its chocolate packaging.

The company showcased its Logic 35 flat bottom bags with side seal at Cibus Tec this month (October 25-28) in Parma, Italy.

The machines are produced at Simionato, which is part of the Hayssen Flexible Packaging group.

Ettore Ferrario, area sales manager, Hayssen Flexible Systems, told ConfectioneryNews Logic 35 is a new system for packaging confectionery products consisting of a multihead Atom scale and vertical bagger.

The scale is built in Simionato and can produce 60 bags a minute on 300g bags,” he said.

The machine is controlled by a touch screen panel and comes with a simple winding system to feed the film rolls through it. Products include Boeri & Rocket products by Rovelli

The packaging we developed has a flat bottom with thin seal, designed for fragile products, and the Atom scale head is one of the most compact and agile pieces of technology in this product range."
