ULMA Packaging, which makes packaging for cheese, snacks and confectionery, among others, has launched the VTC 740 vertical packaging machine, suited for harsh factory environments such as wet packing rooms.

The VTC 740, an upgraded model of its VTC 700 vertical wrappers, is capable of speeds up to 140 packs per minute and comes with a printed film sensor.

The VTC 740 includes new systems that can help boost productivity for food processors by reducing format changing times and cleaning regimes,” said Chris Pickles, MD, ULMA UK.

Constructed with key food industry requirements in mind, such as high levels of production, ergonomics, easy cleaning, low maintenance and hygiene, the VTC 740 can be standalone equipment or incorporated into a line.
