US chocolatier Bissinger’s has issued a voluntary recall for its dark chocolate bunny ears, due to undeclared milk in one lot.

A customer found milk chocolate in the dark chocolate packaging, but the label did not include milk as an ingredient.

People who have a severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life threatening reaction if they consume the product, according to the FDA.

No adverse reactions have been reported to date for a milk allergen in this product.
