Fabian Roecke is head of e-commerce for Mars Chocolate Germany. His four-person team helped to deliver 20% value growth in e-commerce sales for the company in 2016. Roecke joined Mars in 2011 following various marketing positions at FrieslandCampina.

Andrew Pearl joined e-commerce strategy consultant Profitero last year, following roles at food and drink companies such as Mars, Tata Global Beverages and McCormick. Profitero provides e-commerce analytics to leading CPG companies such as General Mills and L’Oreal as well as retailers such as Waitrose, Morrisons and Coop Netherlands.

Michael Bruck​, managing director of chocri

Michael Bruck founded German company chocri in 2008, aged 22. The company was one of the first e-commerce confectionery businesses in the country. Its website allows consumers to create a personalized premium chocolate bar that can be shipped to customers within seven days. In 2010, the company expanded to the US, Canada and the UK. Ritter Sport acquired a stake in chocri the same year, but that stake was later sold to another German chocolate manufacturer Riegelein. Chocri now employs over 20 people and has offices in Berlin and New York.
