Watch a live stream of the World Chocolate Masters in Paris where contestants compete to be the best chocolate chef in the world.

The World Chocolate Masters takes place at the Salon du Chocolat in Paris from Wednesday 28 till Friday October 30. A live stream of the event can be found in the video player below where viewers can also cast their vote. Live broadcasting begins from 10am CET today.

The finals, run by Barry Callebaut’s Cacao Barry, features twenty chefs from across the world who won national Chocolate Masters. They will now compete for the world title and must create the following products inspired by the theme ‘Inspiration from Nature’ theme:

  • Chocolate showpiece
  • Sweet Snack on the Go
  • ‘My Or Noir’ story
  • Moulded praline
  • Patisserie of the Day
  • Artistic creation titled: ‘Where Nature Goes’

Representing the USA is Norman Love Confections’ Dan Forgey, while Alistair Birt of chocolate boutique William Curley represents the UK.

All candidates will compete on day one and two. Only the top 10 will advance to day three, where contestants must create a Patisserie of the Day to the theme ‘Where Nature Goes’.

The awards ceremony will be held on Friday October 30 at 5:30pm CET.

The winner will be able to launch his or her creations at London department store Harrods for a Valentine’s Day campaign from February 1 2016.
