
Millbo SpA is an independent private limited company.
Millbo's activity is concentrated on the development, formulation and production of bakery ingredients. Its research is focused on the raw materials such as enzymes, malts and sour dough and on the development of innovative ingredients.
On 2004 was launched a new line of sour doughs and special dried leavens called Contaci.
A new range of concentrates was launched on April 2005 during the "Europain" Paris, France. Le piazze del Pane is not only a range of products, but the presentation of several italian style regional breads including ciabatta, focaccia and many others.
Millbo factory and offices are located in Trecate, a town 35 kms west of Milan, and on the same site a fully equipped laboratory performs research on enzymes, flours, and all basic ingredients and, in the same time, guarantees the quality control procedures on production.
The company is certified ISO 9001:2000. Millbo has a Certificate for the manufacture of organic products, a KOSHER Certificate on the majority of its products and a very important Product Certification: "NON-GMO bakery enzymes". Since 2004 it is manufacturing according to BCR Technical Standard Certification.
