August 15, Jan Ohlsson, director and chairman of the Board, along
with Director Lars Hjort resigned from their respective positions.

At the Extraordinary Shareholders Meeting of Karlshamns AB, on August 15, Jan Ohlsson, director and chairman of the Board, along with Director Lars Hjort resigned from their respective positions. Due to recent ownership changes, both had announced their wish to resign from the Board of Directors. Melker Schörling was elected new Director of the Board, and during the board meeting following the election he was also appointed Chairman. Melker Schörling is currently Chairman of the Board of the companies Hexagon AB, Securitas AB and TeleLarm Care AB, he is the Deputy Chairman of Assa Abloy AB and Director of the Board of Cardo AB, Hennes & Mauritz AB, Skandia AB and the Federation of Swedish Industries. The Board of Karlshamns AB has now the following members: Melker Schörling, Clas Eriksson, Håkan Hellmo, Lars Lindegren, Jerker Hartwall, Gösta Wiking and Mikael Ekdahl.
