Packaging firm tna has joined forces with potato snack processing
group Kiremko to broaden the remit of both firms and turn the
businesses into a single processing and packaging powerhouse -
reducing sourcing/procuring times for clients and offering a more
comprehensive service.

Based in the Netherlands, Kiremko manufactures equipment for automatic and semi-automatic potato processing. The company specialises in the production of French fries, tortilla chips, crisps, potato flakes and mash. It supplies machinery suitable for all aspects of the process including peeling, blanching, cooking, cutting, drying and freezing. The partnership will allow both companies to widen their consumer base and offer a more complete service. The conjoined firm will be a one-stop shop for all packaging and processing needs. Tna, based in Australia, is known for its high speed bagging operations and serves the snack, confectionery and fresh produce industries. It supplies turn-key integrated packaging systems to food producers worldwide. The two companies aim to share global sales and marketing operations. They claim the deal will allow clients to become more efficient and reduce time spent sourcing equipment. Kiremko director Andy Gowing said: "Tna has proven strengths in vertical packaging and has a reputation for solid innovative engineering combined with a world class sales and service force.Kiremko's solid knowledge of the processing industry and specialised potato processing equipment fits very well with tna,"
