Hershey appoints new strategy and business SVP
US confectionery manufacturer Hershey has named Javier Idrovo as its new senior vice president of strategy and business development.
Idrovo was previously senior vice president of strategy and president at Dole Packaged Foods.
Hershey said that Idrovo “will lead the implementation of Hershey's strategic plan and will be responsible for long-term strategic planning moving forward” and “identify the geographies and segments that are crucial for the company's global growth”.
“Javier's extensive background both in leading a global consumer business and as a management consultant will be of immense value as we implement our plan across the organization,” said David West, Hershey president and CEO. “Javier will ensure that we have the proper resources and alignment to successfully implement our strategy and drive long-term growth.”
