The gum contains Satiereal saffron extract which the company claims can stop snacking temptations.
Although the brand has the backing of former X factor judge and eighties sensation Paula Abdul, the appetite claims have not been evaluated by the US Food and Drug Administration
The product is available at GNC stores and online, retailing at $9.99.
