Flowers Foods exec chairman George Deese to retire
Next we head to Georgia-based baking giant Flowers Foods, which says George E. Deese will retire as executive chairman of the board at the end of this year.
Deese, who will become a non-executive chairman of the board and continue to be involved in the strategic direction of the company, joined Flowers in 1964.
Allen L. Shiver will continue to serve as president and CEO.
