Chocolate and Love has found an award-winning formula with its added-value wrappers that feature pets that look like famous people, from Audrey Hepburn to Lady Gaga.

The range includes five different bars, with amusing names from Filthy Rich to Minted, and Choc Stars, which picked up five ‘Great Taste’ awards last year.

The company, founded by Richard O’Connor and Birgitte Hovmand in 2010, is made with organic ingredients and produced in Switzerland, sold across 35 countries worldwide.

The chocolate is made from cacao beans sourced from a supplier in Peru, The Dominican Republic and Panama. The sugar cane is sourced from Paraguya and Costa Rica and the vanilla is from Madagascar.

O’Connor told ConfectioneryNews, it aims to make chocolate with less sugar content. They are also gluten free and without additives. Apart from the Creamy Dark and Sea Salt variants, the others are dairy-free.

The firm has now launched a chocolate gift box, debuting for the first time at SIAL, Paris.
