The promotion will run from April until June 17, 2018 to drive sales by offering consumers a chance to win one of 102 prizes ranging from £50 to £5,000, said Mondelēz.
The prize ticket will be hidden inside selected Trebor packs, including Extra Strong Peppermint, Softmints Peppermint and Mighties Mint.
“For retailers who stock Trebor and displayed the Get Minted point of sales, Mondelēz will match the value of each cash prize for retailers where winning packs are purchased,” added the company.
Carly Sharpe, brand manager for Trebor, said, “[Trebor’s] single rollpacks sell faster than all other mints [in the UK], so it is important that retailers stock a full range of Trebor products to maximize sales.”
Mondelēz noted this is the second year for the campaign and Trebor is the number one mint brand in the British convenience channel.
