One of the world’s largest chocolate and cocoa shows, Salon du Chocolat will bring together producers, chocolatiers, chefs and consumers in New York City, November 15-17, 2019.

Since its inception in 1994, the Salon has put on more than 220 events in 16 countries, reaching 10.5m people.

This year will be the show’s first in New York City, and its 34th city overall.

"It is a privilege to bring the world's most famous celebration of chocolate and pastry to the United States," said Hervé Sedky, president of Reed Exhibitions Americas, which oversees production.

"Our Advisory Council and exhibitors possess the passion and experience we need to create the memorable world of magic and indulgence that the Salon du Chocolat brand has consistently delivered to chocolate lovers around the globe. Now it's New York City's turn,” he said.

Salon du Chocolat describes itself as ‘an opportunity for tastemakers to celebrate each other’s work.’ It also promises to guide the industry in pushing the category ‘forward together.’

The Advisory Council assists in making the event happen in its local home, and this year’s lineup includes leaders from the International Culinary Center and Seguine Cacao Cocoa and Chocolate Advisors, as well as some of NYC’s finest chocolate gurus from the FIKA Chocolate Factory, Cacao Prieto and NY Cake.

In November, attendees will have the opportunity to explore and celebrate chocolate through live demonstrations, interactive workshops and panel discussions. The show will also feature the Salon’s signature Chocolate Fashion Show, in which the clothes are comprised partly of intricate chocolate pieces, and holiday-themed pop-up shops.

Paris will also host the 25th anniversary edition of the Salon du Chocolat this year, October 30-November 3, 2019.
