The number of confectionery launches 2012 - 2016 with a vegetarian claim grew by about 8%/year*.

Roquette offers more than 15 plant-based CLEARGUM® ​texturising solutions, for use alone or in lots of combinations. CLEARGUM®​ thin-boiling starches’ many functionalities allow all kinds of vegetarian soft treats: jelly beans, wine and hard gums, etc.

One of them, CLEARGUM®​ LG 7015, has unique characteristics:

  • Pea origins
  • Reduction in stoving time
  • Suitability for vegans
  • A variety of textures – soft, elastic or non-sticky – obtained with other starches.
