GEA
The GEA Aquarius FlexFormWrap will be the center-piece on GEA’s booth at ProSweets Cologne.
By integrating the PopCooler cooling unit, GEA has created the GEA Aquarius 3D Lollipop Line. The machine can make up to 600 3D shaped lollipops per minute, and combines forming and cooling of solid or center-filled ball, fancy and 3D lollipops including sandwich wrapping.
The GEA Aquarius 3D Lollipop Line features a patent-pending system that enables lollipops to be securely held by the stick throughout the entire process from forming, cooling to wrapping. To avoid deforming of the 3D shape, the cooler has a specially designed belt that supports the malleable lollipops during cooling.
The vertical bagger GEA SmartPacker CX400 will also be on display, demonstrating Doy style bagging. This type of stand-up bag format is both attractive, space efficient as well as cost-effective and well suited for premium confectionery such as jellies, mints, nuts and cookies.
The GEA SmartPacker forms the Doy style bag on the machine, which is cost-effective and faster.
