Baker Perkins offers services to Vietnamese firm
Bibica, one of the largest Vietnamese confectionery manufacturers, is hoping to expand by installing a Baker Perkins cooking and depositing plant.
The firm makes hard and soft candies, starch syrup, chocolates and cake for home and export markets. Baker Perkins already supplies it with production lines for cookies and biscuits.
The new installation will allow Bibica to make new ranges of one- and two-colour milk, striped and centre-filled hard candy.
“For Bibica, it was vital to work with a supplier that could provide process technology, product expertise and training, as well as high quality equipment,” said Mark Sheffield, Baker Perkins regional sales manager.
“Baker Perkins secured the order because we were the only supplier able to give them complete confidence in our ability to support them at every step.”
