The sweetener stevia is the hot topic of this year’s show following its approval as a novel food in the EU, according to the show organiser.

Peter Grothues, vice president of Koelnmesse, the organisation behind Prosweets 2012 spoke to ConfectioneryNews.com on the second day of the fair in Cologne, Germany.

He shares his highlights of the show so far and identifies what to look out for over the next few days.
