Barry Callebaut R&D head Vriens resigns

Barry Callebaut has announced that chief innovation officer Hans Vriens has quit after seven years at the company.

Vriens requested to resign from the company for personal reasons with immediate effect. The company has accepted his resignation.

Dirk Poelman, Callebaut’s chief operations officer (CCO), is to act as interim chief innovation officer (CIO) interim parallel to his current role.

Barry Callebaut has begun its search for a full-time CIO.
