New Zealand-based Rainbow Confectionery has acquired a new production facility in Australia from Metford Confectionery.

The new plant based in Newcastle, Australia, will double its capacity, adding to existing volume at its plant in Oamaru, New Zealand.

The news came from an article by the New Zealand Herald, which Rainbow endorsed on its Facebook page.

Rainbow Confectionery manufacturers a range of sugar confectionery such as jelly beans, jelly babies and lollipops.
