Ferrero considers development opportunities in Cameroon
Ferrero is considering building its second factory in Cameroon after a company delegation held talks with the Cameroonian government, according to press reports.
A Ferrero spokesperson told this site, “a delegation went to Cameroon to analyse and examine the Group’s current presence and possible development of activities in that country.”
But she would not confirm or deny the press reports of a second factory.
The International Cocoa Organization estimates that 32,600 MT of cocoa were grinded in Cameroon in 2011/12, making it the third largest African grinder.
