Ex-Wrigley boss joins Hershey board

Former North America president for Wrigley Mary Kay Haben has been appointed to Hershey’s board of directors.

The ex-Wrigley chief retired in 2011 after 33-years in the confectionery and consumer food industry.

As the head of Wrigley in North America she oversaw the integration of the Wrigley gum in the U.S. and Canada after Mars’ 2008 acquisition.

Haben previously spent 27 years at Kraft Foods, where she led divisions such as cheese and meals.

She currently serves on the board of restaurant chain Bob Evans Farms and on the board of trustees for Equity Residential, a real estate investment trust.
