ConAgra Foods has recalled a variety of cookie dough after it was put into a package that does not say the product may contain peanuts.

Some chocolate chip cookie dough packages have been filled with peanut butter cup cookie dough, reported the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life- threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product but no illnesses have been reported to date.

This recall is limited to 16oz Kroger’s Break ‘N Bake Chocolate Chip cookie dough bearing the UPC 11110 87530 and Use by date 24NOV13C21.

The product was shipped to Kroger distribution centers and stores in 26 states.

ConAgra Foods is also issuing an alert through Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) in an effort to inform any potentially impacted consumers.
