The F-Series technology can pack chocolate, biscuits and chewing gum in flow packs, and can be combined with its Lomatic feed and distribution system for short changeover times.
Both heat and cold sealing film
Christoph Krombholz, marketing manager, LoeschPack, told ConfectioneryNews, the FCB horizontal flow wrapping machine can be used for the primary packaging of chocolate bars.
“Depending on the application and size range, the F-Series can output up to 1,500 products a minute; both heat and cold sealing film can be used in the process. At this machine size the product output is very fast,” he said.
“With frequent format changeovers, the reduced start-up issue equates to huge performance increases in the machinery.
Gum Information Center
“Largely self-regulating sealing technology means fewer rejects when changing speed, stopping and starting.”
On display at ProSweets, an upstream product buffer fed the unpackaged chocolate bars into the Lomatic automatic feed and distribution system which can distribute smaller chocolate items such as regular bars, small bars and Neapolitans.
It also had a Gum Information Center (GIC) with technical animations, videos and a product samples for different packaging as well as information about its automation machines for feeding chewing gum slabs into packaging machines including the GW06.
