Flavor-changing Tic Tacs

The confectioner’s UK business will add a Coconut to Pineapple variant to its flavor changing Tic Tac Mixers range from September in a 18 g pack (£0.62/$0.80) and a 49 g pack (£1.41/$1.82).

The flavor will replace Peach to Lemonade, while Cherry to Cola will remain in market.

The company launched Tic Tac Mixers to the UK in 2015. The brand posted sales of £3.9m ($5m) for the 52 weeks up to July 15 this year, growing +7.5% year-on-year.

The overall Tic Tac brand in the UK posted sales of £25.2m ($32.5m) over the same period, according to Nielsen.

Nutella to the biscuits category

Ferrero will also bring Nutella to the biscuits category for the first time in UK by launching Nutella B-Ready in September.

The SKU – initially launched in Italy in 2015 – will enjoy £2.8m ($3.6m) in marketing support for its UK introduction. The product is already available in Ferrero’s other international markets.

A single-serve Nutella B-Ready bar will retail for a suggested price of £0.56 ($0.72) and £1.99 ($2.57) for a multipack of six in the UK.
