Orkla names Jeanette Hauan Fladby as new executive VP for confectionery and snacks business

Orkla has named Jeanette Hauan Fladby as the new executive vice president for its confectionery and snacks division, effective October 1, 2018.

She has been working as the CEO of Orkla Confectionery and Snacks Norge since September 1, 2015. Prior to joining Orkla, Hauan Fladby was the CEO of Pierre Robert Group.

The Norwegian conglomerate said Hauan Fladby will also be part of its executive board, reporting to the company’s president and CEO, Peter Ruzicka.

Ruzicka said: “I am very pleased that Jeanette has accepted the offer… [She] has solid leadership experience, strong professional skills in marketing and category development and a business background that makes her the right person for the job.”

Orkla Confectionery and Snacks, which had a turnover of NOK 6.4bn ($768m) in 2017, manufactures products, including KiMs, Nidar, Laima and Selga, and it operates in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Latvia, Estonia in addition to Norway.
