In a senior reshuffle, Chatfield replaces Kjetil Undhjem who moves to a new position at the company’s Zurich HQ.

Mondelēz International has announced that Paul Chatfield will be the new director of marketing for its Cadbury Australian and New Zealand chocolate operations.

Previously associate director of marketing for Mondelēz’s Everyday Chocolate arm, Chatfield joined the company in 2012 from Vitasoy Australia.

He replaces Kjetil Undhjem who moves to a new position at the company’s Zurich HQ as Mondelēz’s senior category director – Western Europe Chocolate.

Responsible for the Cadbury brand, Chatfield said: “With such a rich history in Australia and New Zealand, it is both a privilege and exciting to lead such an iconic and much-loved portfolio of brands into the next chapter of growth, building on such a successful history.”

Chatfield has also worked with Heinz and Arnott’s in Australia.

With experience across the full chocolate portfolio, Paul has most recently been leading the Cadbury Dairy Milk brand, launched Cadbury Dark Milk (the first country in the world to bring this new chocolate taste to the market), led the relaunch of Marvellous Creations and spearheaded a new approach to brand sponsorships,” said Amanda Banfield, Mondelēz’s area vice president Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

“We’re delighted to be promoting Paul into this role given our commitment to growing great internal talent and his fantastic track record over the last six years with us,” she added.
