RED Delight low calorie chocolate to launch in the US

RED Delight low calorie chocolate which claims to have only 16 calories per piece, has launched in the US.

Owned by Chocolette Confectionary, in Switzerland, RED Delight is currently sold in the UK, Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe and plans to launch in Germany soon.

Cocoa oil substitutes

The chocolate is made using natural ingredients without any cocoa oil substitutes, artificial colorants or preservatives. All products in the RED Delight collection are certified Kosher, non-GMO, gluten free, vegan where noted and have no added sugar. 

Claiming to have 50% less calories than competing brands, it received the Great Taste Award in the UK last year.

Chocolette Confectionary produces the reduced calorie gourmet chocolate collection in Latvia. 

Initial interest in the US for RED Delight is in demand due to consumer interest in great tasting chocolate with less calories and no added sugar. 

Consumers in the US will be able to buy 3.5oz bars including: Extra Dark, Dark, and Dark Chocolate with Orange and Almond, Milk Chocolate with Hazelnut & Macadamia as well as several varieties of Milk Chocolate Nut filled praline boxes. 

US distribution partners

RED Delight will be available nationwide in the US through all channels via key distribution partners. 

RED Delight Chocolate collection was created by chocolatiers from France and Switzerland and it comes in a diamond shape to allow receptors to taste the chocolate.
