Nestlé’s Munchies launch new ‘on-trend flavors’ in UK and Ireland

Innovations including Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Cookie Dough created at Nestlé’s confectionery sites in the north of England.

Nestlé has introduced two new ‘on-trend flavors’ to its popular Munchies brand in the UK and Ireland for the new season.

Available in 101g sharing bags, new Munchies Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Munchies Cookie Dough are the first new products since 1996.

Munchies brand manager Cat Mews said: “We are thrilled to bring these two tasty new flavors to our Munchies family. Our teams in York and Fawdon have worked tirelessly over the last six months to bring these new flavors to our loyal Munchies fans. It’s a real delight to see (and taste) the results of our hard work, reaction so far has been amazing and we can’t wait to see what’s next for Munchies.”

Nestlé said that research revealed that Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Cookie Dough were the most preferred new flavors for a new variant of Munchies and the new flavor innovations took just six months from concept to market due to “the expertise and creativity of the expert chocolatiers at Nestlé’s Fawdon factory in Newcastle”.

Chocolate Fudge Brownie is available in all major retailers and Cookie Dough is exclusive to Tesco, Booker and One Stop Stores.
