Mars set to unleash white Snickers across United States

Mars Wrigley has announced the permanent release of its white chocolate Snickers variety in the US.

Snickers White features the same ingredients as its original bar – peanuts, nougat and caramel – but is covered in ‘rich, white chocolate’.

The variety, previously only sold for a limited time, will return to shelves as a permanent addition to the Snickers’ portfolio and will begin rolling out across the country from January 2020.

"We received a resounding positive response from fans when we launched Snickers White as a limited edition offering last year​," said brand director Josh Olken. "As we continue to see the demand for white chocolate grow, we're excited to present this new take on our classic Snickers for more fans to enjoy​."

The new product joins other Mars’ brands embracing the popular white chocolate trend, including M&M'S White Chocolate, M&M'S White Chocolate Peanut and Twix White Chocolate.

Mars is a family-owned business and operates in more than 80 countries. It also produces other confectionery brands, including Milky Way and Dove.
