Unique creation offers ‘best of two worlds: chocolate and confectionery, and a praline with a melo centre’.

Belgian chocolatier Vandenbulcke, a third-generation family business,  will launch its latest creation: Petit Melo at ISM in Cologne 2020.

The Petit Melo inclues a base of crunchy Belgian 'speculoos', an airy sugar foam heart, and a double coating of fine Belgian chocolate. The praline, which weighs just 10 grams, comes in four flavours and has an exceptional shelf life of one year.

In a statement the company claims the Petit Melo is a ‘golden classic with a modern twist’ and that the traditional melo cake has been undergoing a revival for a while. Vandenbulcke’s bite-size creations comes in four flavours - raspberry, Hazelnut and Vanilla with milk chocolate or dark chocolate.

  • Petit Melo can be found at booth O020 Hall 4.2 during ISM Cologne.
