Jelly Belly to launch new line of gummies

The company said the new Jelly Belly gummies will feature Jelly Belly Candy famous ‘true-to-life flavors’ in two mixes: sweet and sour.

"Gummies are popular among many generations of consumers, so it was only fitting for Jelly Belly to expand its candy offerings to bring its famous flavors to a new jelly bean-shaped gummy candy​," a spokesperson said for the family-owned company that was founded in 1898.

Jelly Belly Candy Company has a long history in gummy candy. In 1983, it was the first American company to make gummy bears. Today, the company offers over 50 different confections in addition to the many flavors of Jelly Belly jelly beans.

Jelly Belly gummies are also right on trend, as they are vegan, contain no animal gelatin, made with colors from natural sources, and are non-GMO.

Available in five flavors - sour Berry Blue; sour green apple; sour lemon;  sour orange and sour Very Cherry - both sour and assorted mixes will be available in 4-oz. and 7-oz. bags and 3.5-oz and Grab and Go bags.
