From farm to factory: Gummi World unveils plans for experiential tour
Gummi World has announced plans that will give visitors a behind the scenes look at the ins and outs of vitamin gummy manufacturing.
The renderings include a farmhouse-style, open kitchen facility that will span more than 100,000 square feet on 10 acres of land.
“The inspiration behind the new Gummi World facility is to create an immersive and interactive experience involving nutraceuticals. Similar to the ‘open kitchen’ concept for sit-down restaurants which used to be rare but is a standard today, people will be able to experience the creation of their gummi and trust its quality—starting with the first ingredient,” explained Gummi World’s media specialist Josh Kleinstreuer.
See the production process firsthand
The future-proof campus will be down the road from Gummi World's cGMP production facility in Tempe, AZ, a location situated near major national and international distribution hubs.
The tour will give visitors a firsthand look at the production process, taking them through kitchens, tasting rooms, a state-of-the-art event outdoor space and where some of the botanical ingredients are grown. The company said they hope to bring more transparency to the industry by showcasing the production process from start to finish—including packaging and fulfillment.
“The goal of this facility is to raise the bar for consumer standards in the world of vitamins and supplements, lift the veil on ingredients and health benefits for nutraceuticals, and showcase how/why Gummi World is revolutionizing the industry. Through maintaining a high level of transparency about our gummi ingredients, quality control and health benefits of our products, we will build trust between us and our consumers, as well as our partners,” said Kleinstreuer.
Diamond team
Kleinstreuer added that the company prides itself on the ability to design a custom gummi set to the specifications of clients under their label. To do this, Gummi World relies on their Diamond Team, something he said sets them apart.
The Diamond Team includes an executive chef who focuses on the specific flavors, aromas, and consistencies in the product; A food chemist who is responsible for ingredient quality and overseeing the formulation; A nutritionist that assesses health benefits and nutritional specifications; A pharmacist who oversees bioavailability; And a medical doctor who provides a comprehensive review of the ingredients.
"This immersive experience of our new facility will encapsulate the unique features of Gummi World, our team of experts, and most of all our final product for consumers, clients, and the general public," said Gummi World Chief Medical Officer and Diamond Team member Ayan Monpara, MD"
The custom recipe manufacturer of vitamin gummies said the facility will be fully up-and-running in the next 12-18 months.
