UK B2B company Hames Chocolates has launched a new hot chocolate range for the autumn and winter months, aimed at coffee shops, in-store cafés as well as farm shops and delis wanting to satisfy their customers.

The new range includes Hot Chocolate drinks made with real chocolate shavings packed in pouches, Hot Chocolate Bombes, and Hot Chocolate Stirrer spoons completing the line-up.

As the colder months approach, Carol Oldbury, Director of Hames Chocolates, said: “Our new Hot Chocolate range offers something for all chocolate lovers.  We are confident that our range will appeal to a wide audience – those who love hot chocolate, and those seeking out a sumptuous alternative both in and out of home.

The hot milky drinks category continues to demonstrate growth as hot chocolate and related products such as chocolate bombes and stirrers are becoming popular choices for the whole family to enjoy in and out of the home.  We first saw an increase in sales during lockdown, which led to a growth in existing and new consumption occasions, including home baking and gifting too.”

Hames Hot Chocolate Just Add Milk Shavings Pouches are available in Original Milk Chocolate; Milk Chocolate flavoured with Hazelnut, Butterscotch, Milk Chocolate Orange, Irish Cream and (Wholesale) Sea Salt & Caramel; plain Dark Chocolate; and Dark Chocolate with Peppermint, in 100% recyclable 115g pouches, in outers of 9. Hames Chocolates also offers new hot chocolate shaving products as private label options, again packed in pouches.

Oldbury also said that in addition to the hot chocolate spoons and bombes, the entire hot chocolate range supports sustainability using Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa, and all packaging components are recyclable.

In addition, our hot chocolate spoons are packed in compostable bags, and the non-chocolate elements are either re-usable or recyclable,” she said.
