Love Cocoa innovates with ‘blonde’ chocolate

B Corp British brand Love Cocoa that was founded by Cadbury descendant James Cadbury has launched two new bars into high end retailers in the UK. Alongside an 85% dark chocolate bar made from single origin Colombian cocoa, comes an innovative ‘blonde’ bar which has a creamy caramelised white chocolate taste. Priced at £5 for a 75g bar, these launches come with plastic-free packaging and contain sustainably sourced cacao ethically sourced from Colombian growers.

Montezuma’s branches out into fudge

From its factory on the south coast of England, Montezuma’s has launched a range of three fudges, inspired by its seaside location. Better known for ethically and sustainably sourced chocolate, especially the premium Mini Chocolate Library which contains 10 individually wrapped plain and flavoured chocolate bars, these new SKUs come in clotted cream, chocolate and black forest cherry flavour. The individually wrapped sweets come in compostable film and are free from palm oil.

A minty summer SKU for Oreo

Favourite ice cream flavour mint choc chip gets a new iteration this summer in the form of a limited edition Oreo option. With a waffle embossing on the cookies and a mint crème centre studded with chocolate chips, this latest launch joins Sour Patch Kids, dirt cake chocolate sandwich and Star Wars versions of the iconic biscuit. They will be available across the US and Canada.

Mummy Meegz launches vegan chocolate beans

Vegan chocolate brand Mummy Meegz has unveiled its M’z Gems. Hailed as a vegan alternative to the famous Chocolate and Peanut M&Ms, the latest brand offering is available in various retailers including Amazon, Goodness Goodies, Vegan Candy Man and The Range.

The new M’z Gems, available in chocolate and peanut flavours, contain the brand’s Mummy Meegz “M!lk” chocolate within a crunchy, sweet shell. They are 100% vegan, palm oil-free, and certified gluten-free and come in recyclable packaging.

Barratt adds a new twist to favourite retro sweets

An established name in British confectionery for over 170 years, Barratt is marrying nostalgia with innovation with new formats of its famous Wham bar. Wham Rope serves up the raspberry chew studded with sour crystals while Wham Flash & Dip Pop comes with a light-up sour raspberry lolly and dip-in candy sherbet. Dib Dab, the popular lolly and stardust combo also gets a new format with a double helix of lemon flavour sherbet and strawberry flavour candy spray.
