Cadbury Dairy Milk partners with Lotus Biscoff
British multinational confectionery company Cadbury has partnered with Belgian snack producer Lotus Bakeries to combine the two brands’ most iconic products: Dairy Milk chocolate and Biscoff biscuits.
The duo’s latest launch seeks to tap into consumer demands for sought-after sweet flavours and textures. By collaborating, Cadbury and Lotus Biscoff hope to spur cross-brand excitement to piggyback off each other’s existing popularity and appeal to each other’s fanbases.
It’s not the first time the brands have joined forces. Cadbury’s parent company Mondelēz International used the collaborative new SKU to test the market in India in 2024.
For the UK launch, the confectioner will use co-branded point-of-sale (POS) materials to boost the retail launch campaign and will feature Cadbury’s iconic purple branding with Biscoff’s bold red identity.
Available from March 2025, Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff comes in 105g non-price marked packaging (PMP), 95g PMP varieties and non-PMP formats.
Snickers unveils its newly formulated Easter eggs

Ahead of spring, Snickers has launched its Easter product range with caramel, peanut and nougat flavours.
The Mars-owned chocolate brand has reformulated its Snickers eggs to provide a combination of milk chocolate, caramel filling, roasted peanuts and smooth nougat.

Snickers’s Easter egg release will come with a humorous marketing campaign that sees New York City welcome the Snickers Chicken. The chicken will “lay” thousands of free Snickers eggs in a nest every hour, designed to create a stop-to-see moment.
The chocolate brand’s latest launch is available throughout the US in single size (1.1 oz), share size (2.2 oz) and six-pack varieties.
Ferrero debuts its Easter candy collection

Italian multinational company Ferrero has launched its extensive collection of confectionery products ahead of this spring holiday season under its numerous brands, including Tic Tac, Kinder Joy, Keebler, Mother’s Cookies and Nutella.

First up, in the mint and gum category, Tic Tac Chewy is releasing its fruit and sour adventure, formulated with a crunchy texture on the outside and chewy candy on the inside. The candy chews are designed to provide consumers with an intense fruity flavour.
Children’s chocolate brand Kinder is releasing three new Easter-themed products. The brand is launching its mini friends crispy cookie bits SKU, individually wrapped smooth milk chocolate pieces with crispy cookie bits. Kinder has also produced its chocolate figures, consisting of individually wrapped smooth milk chocolate figures with a creamy milky layer. Kinder Bueno chocolate eggs also hit supermarket shelves, which feature individually wrapped smooth milk chocolate mini eggs with a creamy milky filling.

Under its Ferrero brand, the chocolate provider has launched its Rocher Easter Hazelnut Chocolate Bunny, along with Ferrero Rocher golden eggs in dark, white and milk chocolate.
Hi-Chew debuts travel-inspired getaway mix

On March 18, 2025 the Japanese fruity and chewy candy brand launched its new getaway mix. Releasing the confectionery product at an immersive pop-up experience in Miami International Airport, Hi-Chew’s latest SKU comes in three new varieties, inspired by global flavours.
Owned by Morinaga America, Hi-Chew’s latest limited launch aims to deliver an exotic trio of flavours. First up is the brand’s mango chamoy, which has been formulated to balance ripened mangoes’ sweet and tart flavours with a subtle spice note. Hi-Chew’s getaway mix also contains its mai tai variety, a mocktail-inspired flavour that features tropical fruits. The selection’s third flavour is yuzu lime, which is designed to bring the Japanese yuzu citrus’s tangy notes with zesty and sweet lime flavours.
Hi-Chew’s gluten-free getaway mix is available in Walmart and other major retailers in 3 oz, 6.9 oz, and 11.65 oz sizes.
Fazer introduces chocolate snack bar

Finnish food experience company Fazer unveils its Taste the Future products, including its chocolate snack bar, featuring its novel protein, Solein. Described as being “made out of thin air”, Fazer’s Solein is produced using a fermentation process that combines the innovative approach with electricity.
Fazer’s Taste the Future 40g chocolate snack bar with dark chocolate and hazelnuts contains 7% Solein, positioning the bar in the better-for-you functional confectionery segment.
