Nestlé is going hard on seasonal flavour innovation with its new festive confectionery rollout. Featuring gingerbread KitKat and Giant Aero caramel. Quality Street is also expanding from the tin to tablet with a Green Triangle-inspired sharing bar.
Meanwhile, Milkybar is appearing again in an Advent Calendar format and a new Nestlé White Selection Box brings White Lion, KitKat White and Milkybar staples into one seasonal pack. Core selection boxes also receive a festive design refresh across Aero, KitKat and a classic compilation.
There’s a focus on shareability and mini formats, with KitKat Mini Santas bags, Rowntree’s Giant Tubes in three mixes, as well as Randoms and Fruit Pastilles in sharing cartons.
And sustainability features strongly as Quality Street’s paper tub returns to selected Tesco stores as part of Nestlé’s move to reduce virgin plastic. A limited-edition, store‑exclusive mystery flavour joins pick and mix counters at participating John Lewis locations.

Green Triangle bar
Quality Street extends its portfolio with a Green Triangle-inspired tablet, translating one of the brand’s best-known sweets into a shareable bar. The slab features a hazelnut‑flavoured filling designed to echo the classic, individually-wrapped chocolate, offering an at‑home treat without waiting for the tin to be opened.
Positioned for family sharing and casual gifting, the bar broadens consumption beyond mixed assortments and aligns Quality Street with a wider chocolate bar occasion while retaining a clear link to its heritage.
KitKat Gingerbread
KitKat introduces gingerbread to its two-finger format. The bar pairs KitKat’s crispy wafer with a smooth gingerbread‑flavoured chocolate, designed as a “perfect companion” to a break. Availability, however, is strictly seasonal and the bars will appear from September through to January.
The flavour aims to capture classic bakery cues in the mainstream chocolate format, offering an accessible twist without straying from KitKat’s core wafer-and-chocolate proposition.
Mini Santa bag
A new KitKat Santa chocolate sharing bag features five individually wrapped mini milk-chocolate Santa figures. Each piece combines a crispy wafer with a milk‑chocolate filling, designed as a stocking filler or small sharing treat.
The format brings character‑led novelty to KitKat while keeping portion sizes controlled and gift‑friendly, strengthening the brand’s presence in impulse and seasonal secondary displays.
Milkybar advent calendar

Milkybar enters the countdown space with an Advent calendar of white‑chocolate festive shapes. The calendar targets white‑chocolate fans seeking a daily treat in the run‑up to Christmas, adding brand variety to a staple seasonal segment.
The move aims to complement Milkybar’s family positioning and broadens white‑chocolate options in an area long dominated by milk‑chocolate SKUs, offering a straightforward, brand‑led alternative.
White selection box
Nestlé is to debut a white‑themed selection box featuring White Lion, KitKat White and Milkybar classics. The assortment is pitched at gifting and sharing, providing a curated route into multiple white‑chocolate sub‑brands under one wrap.
Seasonal design updates across selection boxes aim to improve on‑shelf standout. Alongside the white box, Nestlé highlights Aero and KitKat themed designs and a classic selection spanning Yorkie, KitKat, Aero and Fruit Pastilles, covering a range of tastes.
Rowntree’s Giant Tubes

Rowntree’s expands its seasonal presence with Giant Tubes across three mixes: Berry Hearts, Safari Mix and Bottle Pops. The line-up targets family sharing and stocking fillers, keeping the focus on fruity flavour and playful shapes.
The brand also maintains Randoms and Fruit Pastilles in sharing cartons – both made with real fruit juice and no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives – with Fruit Pastilles’ vegan‑friendly recipe broadening appeal. Together, the formats give retailers multiple price points and display options.
Aero Caramel Giant
Aero adds a giant, caramel flavour sharing bar to its bigger‑bar range, pairing the brand’s signature bubble texture with a rich caramel note. The bar is positioned squarely for family sharing occasions over the holidays.
Peppermint is the classic alternative within the Giant range, but Caramel extends Aero’s flavour ladder for shoppers seeking a sweeter profile in a familiar aerated format.
After Eight design

After Eight partners with London artist and designer Camille Walala on a limited‑edition pack design, bringing geometric patterns and vibrant colour‑blocking to the after‑dinner mint. The collaboration reframes a classic for design‑minded gifting without changing the product itself.
Mystery Quality Street
Quality Street introduces a limited‑edition, mystery flavour available exclusively at John Lewis this Christmas, alongside the return of the infamous Coffee Créme and in‑store pick and mix stations at participating locations. The move leverages retailer exclusivity to drive footfall and social conversation around flavour reveals.
Separately, Quality Street’s paper tub – first of its kind for the brand – returns in selected Tesco stores. Finished in the signature purple with gold‑foil detail and a re‑close feature, the tub is recyclable at home and forms part of Nestlé’s progress on reducing virgin plastic use.
