Kroger hooks Mondelēz’s new Swedish Fish-flavored Oreos
Mondelēz has launched Swedish Fish-flavored Oreos, which combine Oreo chocolate wafers and Swedish Fish-flavored crème, exclusively at Kroger stores across the US.
For the benefit of readers outside the US: Swedish Fish is a gummy candy, and not a type of seafood.
The new Oreo flavor retails for $2.99 for a pack of 20 cookies.
“We know consumers enjoy variety when it comes to snacking so we create all of our limited-edition flavors to provide surprising new twists people know and love and on occasion, create unexpected and unique flavor combinations that people may never have thought were possible," said an Oreo spokesperson.
Many people have taken to social media to express their feelings about Mondelēz’s new flavor creation. Some say they like Swedish fish and Oreo cookies, but not when they are put together.
