1. Nestlé to make Smarties packaging plastic free

Nestlé plans to achieve a waste-free future for its brands and factories was laid out in broader vision this week, when it also confirmed it is making its popular Smarties brand plastic free in 2019. The article was the most tweeted and shared on our social media networks.

2. ProSweets Cologne concentrates on future industry trends in biggest trade fair yet

On the eve of the opening of ProSweets 2019 (this Sunday, January 27), it’s no surprise that the world’s largest supplier fair for the sweets and snacks industry is getting a lot of heat on social media. We’ll see you there!

3. Cadbury to launch dark milk chocolate bars in the UK

This is quite an old story from summer 2018, but it has come up in our search analytics for this week, so still creating a buzz.
