Tony’s Chocolonely pushes deeper into North America

Dutch ethical brand Tony's Chocolonely has announced it has expanded its distribution in the US and is now available on Target.com nationwide and in select retailers across the country.

The brand’s growing footprint and increasing availability comes on the heels of Tony's new partnership with rap artist Pharrell Williams and his organization Black Ambition, and the release of its popular Sweet Solution bars.

Pharrell has designed a new chocolate bar for the Dutch brand, which will be available this year. A spokesperson for Tony's Chocolonely said its sustainably-sourced chocolate will continue to be sold directly on its website and in Whole Foods, CVS, Safeway, and other smaller stores around the US​.

Tony’s Chocolonely has grown to become the largest chocolate brand in the Netherlands and is now available in multiple markets including the US, as well as the UK, Germany, Belgium and Scandinavia.

Its mission is to ‘inspire the industry as a whole to make 100% slave free the norm in chocolate’.
