The UK speciality bakery manufacturer has teamed up with restaurant chain TGI Friday’s to roll out two new traybakes in Tesco.

Chocolate Fudge Fixation is a moist chocolate sponge, topped with toffee fudge buttercream and decorated with fudge cubes and caramel curls.

Chocolate Rocky Road also has a chocolate sponge base and is frosted with a Belgian milk chocolate ganache and decorated with the iconic ‘Rocky Road’ embellishments of chocolate coated biscuit balls, marshmallows, chocolate curls and drizzle.

Both traybakes are 7” and serve eight people, idea as a springtime tea treat or to round off a hearty meal.

Jordan McCann, Brand Manager for Finsbury Food Group, said, “We’re incredibly enthusiastic about the launch with TGI Fridays, and already see huge opportunity to continue to add more exciting desserts in the future. Afterall, we could all do with that Friday’s feeling.”

The cakes are available in Tesco across the UK for an RRP of £4. The range will be rolled out across Asda and Morrison’s from Summer 2021.

TGI Friday’s opened its first location in New York City in 1965, and today has expanded to more than 850 restaurants in 55 countries with a mission to create ‘That Fridays Feeling’ with authentic American cuisine. In the UK, TGI Friday’s existing product extensions include a frozen range with Iceland, and a gift range including cocktail barware and fajita pans with Boots.
