Burton’s Biscuits and Fox’s Biscuits (as of 28 March 2022) have merged to form Fox’s Burton’s Companies (FBC) UK, led by CEO Simon Browne.

The FBC Leadership Team is undergoing a strategic review to determine the details behind the transition, however, the new company will continue to operate under CTH, a Belgian holding company related to Ferrero, which acquired Fox’s in 2020 and Burton’s a year later.

“After many years of looking at one another, we are excited about bringing together two businesses that share the same passion for crafting British biscuits with care, quality and innovation,” said Browne.

Burton’s Biscuits was founded in 1935, producing UK household favourites like Jammie Dodgers, Maryland Cookies and Wagon Wheels. Fox’s Biscuits has an even longer history, dating back to 1853, and claims to bake more than six billion biscuits a year.
