Ferrero has announced its North America division is to invest more than $100m in sports marketing campaigns.
The move is the confectionery giant’s biggest marketing campaign to date.
“The investment marks a defining moment for Ferrero in North America,” said Michael Lindsey, Ferrero North America’s president and chief business officer. “We’re going ‘all in’ on these transformational campaigns because we recognise the incredible opportunity to showcase our brands amid the world’s biggest cultural moments.”
He went on to say the investment is Ferrero’s “boldest statement of confidence” in its North American growth trajectory.
The move follows Ferrero’s broader North American expansion, including facility investments in Ontario, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, and Illinois.
