President Trump and The First Lady are opening up the White House to celebrate scare season

The White House is entering into the spooky spirit this Halloween, with a trick-or-treating day of fun.

This Thursday (30 October), President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will welcome trick or treaters to the South Lawn of the White House.

Visitors will have the chance to visit trick-or-treating booths, and enjoy the autumnal decorations on the South Portico of the White House.

The event, supported by the National Confectioners Association, will see the President and First Lady hand out commemorative candies, and the US Air Force band, Strolling Strings, play traditional Halloween songs add to the festivities.
