ConfectioneryNews.com has redesigned its navigation to bring you closer to the latest global industry news.

We have introduced a ‘Sectors’ tab to help you keep pace with your specialist sector. Chocolatiers can indulge on chocolate specific news, gum makers can chew over gum news, sugar confectioners can have their fix of candy news, while biscuit makers get a snap shot of their field.

We have also renewed our focus on commodities, particularly sugar and cocoa, two ingredients fundamental to input costs, allowing procurement heads to size-up the market for the best time to buy.

Our ‘Trends’ tab  keeps on the pulse of the topical hotpoints. Among our chosen subjects are ‘Health and Functionality’, a look at the latest functional ingredients, ‘Sustainable Sourcing’, which tracks firms’ moves to certified cocoa, and ‘Emerging Markets’, insights on BRIC countries and beyond.

Our ‘Big Brands’ tab allows you to cast your eye on developments from large multinationals such as Mondelez International, Mars and Hershey.

The new Views tab includes an 'Industry Voices' section that features big interviews from leading industry players, guest posts and people profiles.

The tab also includes an ‘Editor’s Blog’, for the ConfectioneryNews.com to communicate opinions, present infographics and observe the broader picture.

Plant managers may be drawn towards our 'Technology' tab, which details the latest in processing and packaging materials and equipment, while R&D teams might want to search for that missing something in our 'Ingredients' tab.

Our ‘Multimedia’ section allows you to vary the way you consume the news. We have videos and podcasts from global industry tradeshows and image galleries for a more visual experience.
